FOR OVER 50 YEARS, THE PROUD SPONSOR OF THE "GRAND-DADDY OF THE ALL" - THE SHELBY HAMFEST AT DALLAS, NC!

The April 2008 Fox Hunt Took Place in Cleveland County, This time hosted by the Shelby Amateur Radio Club.  The fox either hid very well or the weather contributed to the length of time it took to be found.  The Fox Team this time was Susan, K4ZXN and Ben, KM4C and hid in Kings Mountain.  The first Team to find the fox came in sometime around 2 hours and 10 minutes (approximately).  Then others soon followed.  Thanks to all the hams from both counties that participated and to our visitor from Aiken SC, Gordon.  We are looking forward to the next fox hunt in Gaston County on May 24.  This time the Gaston County Amateur Radio Society will be hosting.  Michael and Ken will be the fox, we are looking forward to the fox hunt and hope others will join us.   We appreciate those that joined the hunt but could not continue with the hunt, KF4KED and another station, who's callsign I did not write down.  We hope you will join us again.
